California Trip 2009!

We totally went to California this weekend! It was awesome! (Sorry for not visiting you Liebaerts! We didn't rent a car or have time! We suck!)

We went to the Happiest Place on Earth on Friday!

We hung out with all the Perkins folks, and later we saw Will and Jill! It rained all day, which was awesome. There were ZERO lines. We had churros. We had ice cream. We rode everything we wanted to. Overall, it was a very successful Disneyland trip!

The next day was the baby shower for Todd & Jessica's baby, Luke.

Luke is wicked cute, and the shower was a blast. Good friends, great tunes (AC/DC lullabies), and delicious pie. It was rad.

That night we went to the best frozen yogurt place in the WORLD, Nubi. At Nubi they have like 20 kinds of frozen yogurt, and a million toppings. You make your own awesome creation, and you pay by the ounce. It's radical.

Then, I went with Chad and Heather to go see a punk rock LEGEND! Jesse Michaels.

Jesse Michaels INVENTED ska/punk. He was the singer of Operation Ivy, Big Rig, and Common Rider. His new band is called Classics of Love, and they are tight!

The next day we went to Todd's ward for the baby blessing. It was awesome. And Jessica gave a great talk. She's a natural speaker, and always does an awesome job. After church we hung out at Todd's house with Jessica's family. They made some delicious, and very McInroeish food. (It was all yellow or golden brown.) Most of the time I played this awesome x-box game where you walk around a shopping mall killing zombies with pretty much whatever you want. Hedge trimmers were probably the funnest way to kill zombies...or maybe hitting golf balls at them.

Then we came back home to the magical land of unicorns. It was a great trip, but it is so nice to be back in paradise!
